The #KEEPKASICLEAN Initiative Was As Real As it Gets. The Guardian Angel Trust invited and united school learners, the military, conservationists, Government, and the local community to gather together for a cause that was bigger than just the many hundreds of people present. This event was more than just a celebration – it was a call to action to embrace and to energize the values of dignity, unity, and responsibility that

Nelson Mandela embodied. 

The community of Alexandra Township was incentivized to begin the journey towards a greener future for their township and then beyond – to a more sustainable future for our planet. By coining the tag  #KEEPKASICLEAN, the Guardian Angel Trust honoured Madiba's legacy through an exciting day of collective action that forged a solid connection between the ideas of conservation and cleanliness, and a better quality of

life for all.

Guardian Angel launched this initiative with the aim of inspiring the young learners present to become Builders of a Better Future by becoming united in purpose to protect their natural heritage and to build a cleaner, safer community.

The Guardian Angel Trust showcased remarkable eye- opening environmental awareness activities that made the impressionable young people present into eco-warriors for a day, and provided them with a unique opportunity to learn

about, and to engage with, the natural world. 

This awesome Day of Awareness and Hope invited and featured various organizations and exhibitors who shared their knowledge and guided the youth on possible career paths in conservation and environmental management.

The Guardian Angel Trust's primary goal is to inspire and educate young South Africans to reach their potential and live productively.

The original meaning behind the term ‘Educate’ means to draw out, or to lead forth, or to develop from within. And certainly, by participating in communal environmental initiatives such as the Guardian Angel Trust’s #KEEPKASICLEAN campaign, a sense of community is fostered, promoting social connections and collective productivity. And it all starts by being mindful of not littering and being mindful of nature conservation!
